ARTIST STATEMENT

I would like my art to help people feel calm, happy, energized, and encourage positive thinking.
While they enjoy my paintings, they can forget their problems and enter my world.
Ms. Choe has painted most of her life and painting is her life's pursuit. Her acrylics, which she describes
as a form of "impressionistic expression" suggest particular, intimate details as well as universal features.
She uses fantastic colors to create impressions of warmth, vitality, and spaciousness. Her originals are
in the permanent collections of corporations and many private collectors in the United States,
Europe, and Asia. Currently, she holds the position of Creative Director at L’Oréal USA.
